2017 Kia Sorento Updates
2017 Kia Sorento
Just last year, the Kia Sorento went through a complete makeover. However, the 2017 model still got a few new additions. Updates for the 2017 Kia Sorento include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, an available autonomous emergency braking system, and the EX 2.0 turbo models adds steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
An ideal-sized crossover, the Kia Sorento is not too big and not too small. Buyers can choose from a two-row configuration to seat five or a three-row version that seats up to seven. There are also three engines to choose from, including the base 185-horsepower four-cylinder, a 3.3-liter V6 with 290 horsepower, and a turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 240 horsepower.
With a wide range of features to choose from, buyers can create the ideal Sorento to fit their family’s needs. Whether that means more seating or more power.
Another bonus when choosing the Kia Sorento is its 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. If your kids are older than six, this means the warranty will still be in effect when they’re old enough to drive.
You won’t have to worry about safety, either. The Sorento was named a 2016 Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety for its top marks in all crash test and available active safety features.
