Crown Kia’s Charity Madness Highlights Local Charity Organizations
As college basketball teams are battling it out on the court, local charities have been put head-to-head in Crown Kia’s charity madness. Over the past month on our Facebook page, we have been highlighting local organizations who work hard doing good in our community.
We started with eight charities, including the Salvation Army of Tyler, Boys & Girls Clubs of East Texas, Muscular Dystrophy Association of East Texas, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, Boot Campaign, Therapet Animal Assisted Therapy, and The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People.
Each week, we highlighted two of these charities and let our Facebook fans vote on each match-up with either a “like,” comment, or share. Whichever charity post received the most interactions, moved on to the next round. At the end of the competition, the winning charity will receive $250 from Crown Kia and $250 from Clay Walker.
After the first round, we were down to the Salvation Army of Tyler, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Boot Campaign, and the Human Society’s Pets Fur People. If you have a strong connection with any of these groups, be on the lookout for our Facebook posts about each charity. Then, be sure to share it with your friends so they can vote, too.
