Kia’s Design Experience Wins International Design Awards
If you want a vehicle that not only drives well, but looks good doing so, then you need to take a good look at Kia. For the past decade, Kia’s design strategy has been honored repeatedly for its innovation.
Most recently, the International Design Excellence Awards recognized Kia’s BEAT 360 brand experience space in Seoul with awards for Design Strategy and Environments. This is the latest in an ever-growing list of design recognition.
“Kia Motors can be incredibly proud of this latest triumph, as it highlights Kia’s creativity and the innovative way BEAT 360 communicates brand values to buyers,” said Youngwon Cho, Senior Vice President at Global Brand and Marketing Department of Kia Motors Corporation.
The BEAT 360 experience opened last summer and features some of Kia’s stylish vehicles alongside a garden, café, and a salon. The whole experience is meant to showcase the cohesive design elements that connect all of Kia’s vehicles. It also hosts numerous cultural and artistic initiatives.
Kia received its first design award back in 2009, when the ground-breaking Kia Soul earned the Red Dot award. Since then, Kia has earned a total of 37 design awards, including three iF design awards and three Red Dot awards in 2018.
